What is Medicare?
Medicare is a US federal government health coverage and insurance program that reimburses hospitalization and medical cares costs of certain disabled and elderly American citizens.
The scheme comprises of two major parts for medical and hospital insurance i.e. parts A and B and two supplementary parts that covers prescription drugs i.e. parts C and D. to be eligible for Medicare, a person has to be over 65 years of age or under 65 with some disability. The person has to be aUScitizen or a legal resident or have stayed for five continuous years in the country.

The part B of Medicare is an optional insurance for people who have already qualified for Medicare part B.
